Founder's Story
Mayank Agarwal's journey from the corporate world to championing environmental causes reflects a profound shift in values and priorities. After years of running his agency in corporate environments, Mayank recognized the urgent need to prioritize collective conscience, sustainability and environmental stewardship. Inspired by a deep-seated commitment to protecting the planet, Mayank decided to take a bold step by making Earth itself his client. With this vision in mind, he founded Give Back to Gurugram, a platform dedicated to fostering collective actions and spearheading impactful initiatives for the betterment of the community & the city & the Earth eventually.
Before the inception of Give Back to Gurugram, Mayank Agarwal established Geek Creative Agency, a pioneering initiative aimed at harnessing technology and creativity to drive positive change. Through www.geekcreativeagency.com, Mayank launched projects such as www.sustainify.in, www.Brightweb.org, a work-in-progress platform dedicated to hosting 100 earth-conscious projects. Among these projects is the ambitious 8B (billion) Project, which seeks to mobilize the global population in giving back to the Earth, irrespective of their geographical location.
Furthermore, Mayank's commitment to social responsibility extended beyond environmental advocacy. He actively collaborated with the Government of Gurugram to raise awareness about the city's new name & cybercrime through a series of events and drives. These initiatives, in association with corporate giants like ICICI, Paytm, vivo etc. not only shed light on pressing social issues but also underscored Mayank's ability to forge impactful partnerships in pursuit of a common goal.
